Mature Market Experts Stat of The Day: The Elderly Feel 13 Years Younger

The mature market tends to feel about 13 years younger than their chronological age, a new study by the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research finds.

“The seniors in the study, all 70 and over, also thought they looked about 10 years younger than their numerical age, with women perceiving their appearances to be closer to their actual age than men.”

Funny, I would think it would depend on what day you ask me . . . some days I feel 20 again . . . others days I feel 100. What I like about this article, if you follow the link, is that in general, the mature market looks upon the aging process with satisfaction. Too often marketers position aging as either a curse or a joke.
