Mature Market Experts Stat of The Day: Planning

A 2003 GE study noted:

·         Only 11% knew the average life expectancy for someone 65 years old today is over age 85

·         57% of survey respondents over the age of 55 say they have no idea how they’re going to fund their retirement

·         19% know someone who has outlived their retirement or pension

Mature Market Experts Question: When will the financial companies start talking to 65+ olds differently then they talk to the Boomers? They are in different stages of life (and oh, by the way, 65 year olds have A LOT of money).
